I decided that it is time to say goodbye … after 10 awesome years with Amy Amazone

she has been the greatest and most reliable car i have ever owned so far, which is amazing as we have owned brandnew cars as daily drivers, also. the only car that would start up with a snap in the winter (without any care for the last couple of months) and never let us down was amy.
amy has been upgraded over the years on the technical side but somehow i never got around to work on the chassis, so after all that time she got a bit of rusty and re-doin her body would have costed me a lot of money. as you all know i am a daddy now and there are more important things to put your money into, other than keeping multiple oldtimers and cars running. i guess that means i am growing up
as i am also restaurating a 1958 chevrolet biscayne/bel air i decided to finally let go and give her into good hands.
so today i sold her to a young guy and his father, that are now completly reworking amys body and i bet they will have another 10 years or more with her.
bye bye my dear amy and thanks for all the great rides. you are forever in our hearts and we will miss you!
