almost forgot to take photos due to heated family discussions managed to get this cute shot of ben playing with my sister marina, my wife steph and my sister in law stephanie in our old childrens-playroom at my parents house. thank you for the nice celebration!

… the new bed has the option that “the little guy” can enter his bed by himself (without anymore “heavy lifting”) which is great!

… all fans and air conditioning systems are sold out. ALL fans? … nope grandma found one at a little mom-and-pop-corner store and steph picked it up to cool bens bedroom down. thanks grandma!

A saturday morning a the local beach club

as we are currently having quite a heat wave over here in germany we decided to go to the local lake once again to spend time there til noon (when it get’s crowded). it was really nice for all of us and we are planning on meeting at the lake with some friends and their kids in the future. they even have a kiddy-pool at the lake which is awesome for the kids!

being not so close to the sea, we call every little lake that has a bit of sand a “beach club” over here in good old central germany we got quite lucky when a beach club opened pretty close to our home and today steph, ben and i took a nice swim at the lake. it was quite nice and ben had a blast!

We are having lot’s of icecream this summer :-)

Today we spent the afternoon at my brothers place celebrating his birthday and having a nice bbq. ben had a blast playing with my sisters, and running arround in the backyard. good times!
